  • Koo Koo is a delightful new Persian restaurant and a wonderful new dining addition to the DC market. Our food was incredibly tasty and perfectly made with exquisite blend of spices and flavors. We enjoyed the many delicious appetizers from the potato koo koo, to masto khiar which was garnished with rose buds, to the Persian fries that were flavored with sumac. Next, we feasted on the chicken kabob skewers with saffron rice and the salmon which was equally scrumptious! There is a wide selection of drinks from wine and beer to sangria. We had dinner with my 86 year old father, husband and 13 year old son and everyone across this wide generation left feeling incredibly satisfied and that’s because the food is authentic, delicious and served with great love. We all enjoyed their delicious food (especially Fesenjoon, Kashk Bademjan, Joojeh, Mast Moosir, tea, and Azadi drink ) and the evening was everything we hoped it would be.
